The elegant and regal entrance from Lafayette St. into the Lafayette Grande. The building was built in the 1920's and has been a masonic temple, the Oakland County Government Building, hosts restaurants, and of course - the Banquet facility since 1997.
This is Leo. He stands guard in front of the Lafayette Grande. Although in recent years, he's not had to do anything.
The Grande Ballroom - Chandeliers and accents. Throughout the entire building are accents and details from skilled laborers and artisans that don't exist but in the finest historic buildings. These are the original Chandeliers from the 1920's.
The Crystal Ballroom - Hand carved pillars, and crown molding line the ceiling of the Crystal Ballroom. Accented with golden paint. Architectural details like these, preserved and restored by the Lafayette Grande staff are one of the many ways we stand out from the other banquet facilities.
The Lafayette Ballroom, perfect for a smaller gathering, and can seat up to 200 people. With on-room restrooms, a bar area, and access from the first floor.

The stage and Bride & Grooms table in the Grande Ballroom. The Grande Ballroom can seat up to 500 people, with room for dance and dinner. With two bars, upstairs and down, a bridal suite, on-floor restrooms, and even a mezzanine overlooking the main floor.
